Feasibility study announced for South-West manufacturing hub

The McGowan Government has allocated $485,000 towards a study that will examine the feasibility of establishing an advanced manufacturing hub in the South West region. The proposed hub is a co-coordinated project from the South West Development Commission, intending to highlight opportunities for Bunbury Geographe manufacturers when competing for work by providing local access to infrastructure, technology, training, education and research.

Industry and local government organisations will also be contributing funding towards the study, as well as participating on a steering committee as coordinated by the South West Development Commission.
