Industry consultation OPEN for cross-sector infection control

After a recent decision of the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) Emergency Response Sub-committee, PwC Skills for Australia have been commissioned to develop Cross Sector Infection Control training for employees preparing to return to the workplace.

To help in developing this training, PwC’s Skills for Australia is seeking industry feedback on proposed new training to validate it is fit for purpose across all industries, including:

- A new skill set: BSBSS00128 Cross-Sector Infection Control Skill Set;

- A new unit of competency: BSBWHS332X Follow infection prevention and control policies and procedures in own work activities.

This unit and skill set has been designed to expand current options available to rapidly upskill people in all sectors in following infection control practices and procedures on their return to their workplace/s.

Feedback is due by 20 June 2020.
